Are your HVAC employees getting (too) comfortable?

New year, new motivating factors for your employees. We all set personal resolutions, but what about career resolutions among the team? What do your employees want to accomplish? It shouldn't be the status quo.

Here are just a few ways to get your employees re-inspired and ready to tackle everything in 2013.

1. Start with learning. Employees often leave a company because they're bored; not because of the heavy workload. Help them out by enrolling your employees in classes that teach them new skills, such as conflict resolution, learning about a new product, or improving customer service.

2. Find what motivates the sale. Sales down? What truly motivates your salespeople to strive for excellence? You'd be surprised: It's not all about the money.

3. Get away for a team day. Take all employees out for a daylong session to inspire ideas for a successful year, and don't forget to top it off with happy hour!

How do you motivate your employees in the New Year?
