CX34 Copper & C33 Copper Cased Coil Part Numbers to be Discontinued
This March, Lennox is discontinuing certain copper and copper cased coil part numbers.
They will be replaced with new copper and copper cased coil part numbers or Lennox Quantum™ Coil aluminum cased coils, in certain cases.
Coil replacement in dual fuel heatpump systems
The copper C33 cased and copper CX34 coil parts numbers will be discontinued.
The copper C33 cased coil is being replaced by the copper coil C37. The copper CX34 coil is being replace by the copper coil CX38. The C37 and CX38 copper coils will be rated with heat pumps only and therefore will affect dual fuel applications.

Coil replacement in air conditioning systems
In air conditioner applications, however, our Lennox Quantum™ Coil aluminum C35 cased coil and CX35 coil is required. That means in these situations, the copper C33 cased and copper CX34 will be replaced by the Lennox Quantum™ Coil aluminum C35 cased coil and CX35 coil, respectively.
The AHRI ratings for the C33 uncased and CX34 coils will remain valid for at least a year (either in “active” or “discontinued” status) to allow for any remaining stock to be consumed.
No other coils from Lennox are affected by these changes at this time.
